About Our Company

 

Undermountain Industries, LLC was founded to provide dependable welding and heavy equipment repair services to contractors operating in demanding environments, particularly within the natural gas pipeline and utility sectors. Our company initially supported pipeline construction projects by delivering fast, X-ray quality welds and onsite repair solutions to keep equipment operating and projects moving forward.

 

Through our work alongside utility contractors utilizing Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and other high-wear applications, we employed processes such as carbide hardfacing, specialty build up electrodes, conventional chromium carbide hardfacing, to repair work tools. As customer needs evolved, so did our capabilities, leading to the addition of portable line boring services to better support heavy equipment repair in the field.

 

Over time, Undermountain Industries, LLC expanded beyond welding and repair services to include heavy equipment operations such as site work and land clearing, allowing us to provide broader support solutions to contractors and property owners throughout the Texas Hill Country.

 

Our founder, got his start growing up on a small rural farm and working within a family excavating business. There, he learned the fundamentals of dirt work, grading, site preparation, and the importance of maintaining and repairing heavy equipment to keep projects running efficiently.
